Severance Is Finally Back For 10 Episodes of Season 2 Mystery
THE WAIT FOR more Severance is finally over—as they would say at Lumon Industries, praise Kier for that. THE WAIT FOR more Severance is finally over—as they would say at Lumon Industries, praise Kier for that. After a nearly three year wait, Apple TV+’s engrossing, thrilling, darkly comedic, brilliant mystery series is back for its second season, and after the mind-blowing conclusion to the show’s first season, there’s nowhere for things to go but up. In short, the game has changed, and we’re dying to see what happens next to Mark S. (Adam Scott), Helly R. (Britt Lower), Dylan G. (Zach Cherry), Irv (John Turturro), and the rest of the gang.
That being said, the villains of our story—including Mrs. Cobel (the wonderfully unhinged Patricia Arquette) and Milchick (Tramell Tillman)—aren’t going to let anything change without putting up a fight. Severance has become a totally unique and entirely wonderful experience; we’re on the edge of our seat wondering what will happen next and trying to uncover all sorts of mysteries, but the show is also still incredibly funny, heartfelt when it needs to be, and wonderfully crafted. Seriously: Severance‘s production design and overall aesthetic is on the level of some of the better films you’ll ever see (and has taken clear influence from classics like Being John Malkovich, among others).
We know that anyone who’s seen Severance season 1 is coming into things already on the edge of their seat (and if you need a refresher on what happened, we’ve got you covered there too). Apple TV+ is rolling out the red carpet for the new season of its smash hit, and making season 2 a true slow burn; we’ll get one episode per week for ten consecutive weeks. Want to binge? You can do it! You’ll just have to wait until late March for that.
In the meantime, for those of us following along weekly, you can learn all you need to know below.
