REI, one of the biggest names in outdoor apparel and gear, is the latest retailer to capitalize on the seasonal change and is offering up to 50 percent off some of its best-selling items for a limited time.

Lastly, if you’re looking for a lightweight hiking boot, check out the Hoka Kaha 2 GTX. While this is the older version (the Kaha 3 is the latest model), the Kaha 2 is still an extremely capable hiker with Gore-Tex waterproofing and Hoka signature plushness. But performance hits as well in this hiker, with a Vibram Megagrip sole and 5mm lugs for traction in nearly any terrain. And at the moment it’s under $200.
