Terumo BCT has appointed Patrick Daly as Chief Business Officer

Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies (Terumo BCT) has announced the appointment of Patrick Daly as its Chief Business Officer.

Daly joins the medical technology company with more than three decades of business and healthcare industry experience.

He takes on the role after building the MedTech Global Data franchise at IQVIA, where he most recently served as Global Vice President – MedTech Market Measurement.

Prior to this, Daly was President and Chief Executive Officer of Cohera Medical and held senior leadership roles in strategic marketing, sales and business development across various regions and businesses of Johnson & Johnson.

He also currently serves as independent Board Director for BioStem Technologies.

Commenting on his ambitions for his latest role, Daly said: “I am focused on ensuring our full portfolio, connected with data, software and services, will play a growing role in helping our customers solve healthcare’s toughest challenges, while advancing disease research, therapeutic development and improved access to safe blood worldwide.”
