Elekta has appointed Jonas Bolander as Acting President and CEO

Elekta has announcement the appointment of Jonas Bolander as Acting President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Bolander has been with Elekta for more than two decades and has most recently been serving as its Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Head of Group Functions.

During his time at the company, Bolander has had an increasing focus on managing a growing team within legal and regulatory affairs, compliance, corporate communications and quality assurance.

Earlier in his career, he held roles at A Brand New World, TeliaSonera and Hansén Advokatbyrå.

Commenting on his latest position, Bolander said: “After more than 20 years with Elekta, I firmly believe we will continue the successful launches of our new products and deliver on our strategy.

“I look forward to leading this transition period together with the great team at Elekta.”

Elekta outlined that its Board of Directors has an international recruitment process for a new CEO ongoing.
