SPRING IS HERE, but for some of us, only in a technical sense. We haven’t had much spring weather here on the East Coast, but that’s OK. It could be a blessing in disguise—we have a few extra weeks to upgrade our spring wardrobe ahead of the warm weather. And considering we’re currently in the midst of transitional weather, we’re here to make the best of it courtesy of Filson’s killer sale section, which is loaded with deals on rugged spring favorites up to a jaw-dropping 70 percent off.
These are some of the best deals we’ve seen since Filson’s similar savings-heavy fall sale. The good news about this sale: It covers various styles and functions. Layering options are plentiful, with the rugged Cruiser Jacket now 40 percent off, as well as on warm-weather options like tees and camp shirts. Whether you’re still experiencing elements of the cold weather or enjoying a nice sunny spring day, Filson has got you covered.
The bad news? We don’t know how long this will last. With plenty of sale styles already out of stock, we managed to scrounge up some serious savings on our favorites. But like the others, there’s no telling how long the inventory will hold up. We run down some of our favorite spring options in Filson’s outlet section while there’s still time to nab a product.
April Filson Sales
The Pacific Northwest outfitter produces some of the premier outerwear clothing on the market and has been doing it for quite some time—over 125 years, to be exact. Hence, when you see deals up to 70 percent off, you have to trounce.
Despite limited inventory due to the sale’s overall popularity, robust deals remain to be had. If you’re looking to protect yourself from spring showers, the Swiftwater Raincoat is now 40 percent off and under $150. Filson’s Sherpa Fleece Jacket is a fantastic option for early spring in-between weather; it’s currently 50 percent off and now just under $100. And if you’re looking to upgrade your spring jacket, the Worksmith Insulated Jacket is now also 40 percent off; it’s durable and versatile enough to be a four-season layering option.
Other fantastic early spring layering options include the Mackinaw Wool Jac-Shirt, the Crewneck Guide Sweater, and the Elk Heights Camp Shirt, all of which are now 40 percent off.
Of course, there are plenty of warm-weather-friendly items also ripe for the picking. The rugged, jersey knit Embroidered Pocket T-Shirt is 50 percent off and just $40, with limited sizes remaining. The Filson X Ten Thousand Tactical Shirt, a high-end moisture-wicking, abrasion-resistant performance shirt, is now 40 percent off. Looking for something you can wear on a night out? The Handprinted Camp Shirt is 50 percent off and now under $100. And perhaps the best deal we found in our search goes to the Field Flannel Shirt (try saying that five times fast), which is a whopping 70 percent off at just $34.50.
There were a few gear highlights in the sale section, too. Save 30 percent on the durable, multipurpose Journeyman Backpack in select colors. The versatile, waxed Cordura nylon-based Surveyor Messenger Bag is now 50 percent off. And if you plan on getting bent this spring, the lightweight and stylish angler hat is now also 5o percent off.
Of course, these sale prices are contingent on you acting swiftly; we’ve seen many items already go in and out of stock. And with savings up to 70 percent, we’re certainly not surprised.
